RENTAL LEGISLATION
As of August 2024, a new rental law will come into effect, designed to regulate and limit the growth of short-term rentals.

Under the new legislation, this accommodation may not be rented for a period shorter than 10 days.

This modern penthouse apartment in Oasis Beach La Zenia 6 is furnished with satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The open kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower, sink, and toilet, and two bedrooms with a total of four sleeping spaces (2 x 2).

Just a short walk away from the complex, you will find the largest shopping mall, "La Zenia Boulevard," with over 150 shops, including Media Markt, Zara, H&M, and Mango. LA ZENIA AREA INFORMATION  
La Zenia is located on the Costa Blanca South, just south of the major town of Torrevieja. This stretch of coast is known as the Orihuela Costa. La Zenia is a small but busy beach resort, one of several areas within Orihuela Costa. It features two very popular sandy beaches for relaxation and the biggest shopping mall in the province of Alicante, "La Zenia Boulevard."

There are plenty of bars, cafes, and restaurants scattered around the area to enjoy, and it serves as one of the starting or stopping points on the Orihuela Coastal walking route. This gives you a good idea of what to expect in La Zenia.

Clearly, La Zenia is a great location for a beach holiday. You won’t need to go anywhere else, as everything you need for a fantastic family holiday in the sun is right here in La Zenia.

CLIMATE
The weather is mostly fantastic. After all, La Zenia, as part of the Costa Blanca, offers at least 300 days of sunshine a year, low humidity, and mild winters. Naturally, summers can be very hot, reaching temperatures of up to 35 degrees or higher. In contrast, spring and autumn are warm and dry, while winters are still very pleasant. You can even celebrate Christmas on the beach, which has become an annual tradition.

EATING OUT  
The best part is that La Zenia is popular among holidaymakers and residents from all over Western Europe. It received a significant boost with the opening of La Zenia Boulevard. Since this new commercial center opened in recent years, even more tourists have been attracted to this beautiful place, resulting in a wide selection of international restaurants offering cuisines from around the world.

GOLF COURSES  
Nearby La Zenia, there are three golf courses: Villa Martin, Campoamor, and Las Ramblas.

NICE WALKS  
The countryside around La Zenia is surrounded by orange and lemon trees. A pleasant walk by the sea is the cliff walk to Cabo Roig, which offers amazing views of the cliffs and the sea. It takes about an hour to walk from the Zenia hotel to Cabo Roig harbor and beach. At Cabo Roig beach, you can enjoy tapas and refreshments in the beach bars or at the marina itself.

Similarly, you can walk in the other direction towards Playa Flamenca. This route includes two beaches with bars, and Playa Flamenca has even more restaurants. If you’re in good shape, you can continue the beautiful walk further to Punta Prima or even to Torrevieja. This sandy walking path also features a beach for naturists. At Punta Prima, you’ll find lovely beach bars and restaurants.

MARKETS
There are no markets held in La Zenia, but several are nearby. At the end of the week, on Saturdays, there is the "La Flamenca" market, which is within walking distance from La Zenia. Another nice little market takes place on Thursdays in Cabo Roig. Additionally, there is a large street market in Torrevieja on Fridays.

Along the beach of Cabo Roig, there is a pleasant market on Thursdays, situated right by the sea, offering local fruits, vegetables, food, mobile bars with "Chocolate y Churros," local products, and souvenirs. Most importantly, it provides an amazing view of the "Mar Menor."

GETTING TO LA ZENIA 
La Zenia is centrally located between two airports. San Javier Airport in Murcia is about a 15 to 20-minute drive away, and Alicante Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Both airports are well connected to the rest of Western Europe.

Particularly at Alicante Airport, many budget airlines like Ryanair, Norwegian, and EasyJet operate. La Zenia is well connected by the AP-7 highway, which requires a toll. The AP-7 connects the northern part of the Costa Blanca with the south.

From Murcia San Javier Airport to La Zenia, you don’t need to pay any toll if you exit the motorway at Cabo Roig or Campoamor. The cost of the toll when driving from Alicante Airport is around 4 to 6 euros, depending on the tourist season. Alternatively, you can avoid tolls by taking the N-332, which connects the Costa Blanca from north to south. By taking the N-332, you will pass through the cities of Santa Pola and Torrevieja.

If you head towards Alicante from La Zenia, you will visit the city of Torrevieja, which is very popular among Western European tourists, resulting in a busier atmosphere. If you prefer a calmer environment with more Spanish tourists, you can head in the direction of the "Mar Menor" and visit the cities of "Pilar de la Horadada."
